Our vision is to restore a standard of excellence in motherhood, grounded in the Word, following God’s design rather than the whims and demands of the world. Mothers With a Mission sees the next generation equipped with vision and values that will stir up in them real hope and real truth.
The purpose of Mothers With a Mission is to Encourage, Educate, Equip, and Engage in ways that will strengthen the moral and spiritual foundation of our homes, families, and communities.
Our goals are to mentor, educate, and serve as a resource for mothers who want to do something right now to make a difference.
The essence of our calling is summed up in a single word: Love.
There will be no election of officers with campaigning of candidates. Instead, we will follow the Jesus model of listening for the Father to tell us who is to fill our leadership roles.
While we will have practical vehicles to keep us organized, such as printed agendas for our meetings, we will have NO AGENCY MENTALITY regarding the way we conduct business.
RULE OF LAW
Rather than using the typical Roberts Rules of Order, we will use Galatians 5:22-24 as our measure of conduct: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. This is how we will keep one another accountable, by the LAW OF LOVE.
We are a non-profit organization. Delaware Strong serves as our fiscal agent.
