Hello. I’m Rachel Macy Stafford, author this “Hands Free Mama” blog and website and a book by the same name. I want to make memories, not to-do lists. I want to feel the squeeze of my child’s arms, not the pressure of over-commitment. I want to get lost in conversation with the people I love, not consumed by a sea of unimportant emails. I want to be overwhelmed by sunsets that give me hope, not by overloaded agendas that steal my joy. I want the noise of my life to be a mixture of laughter and gratitude, not the intrusive buzz of cell phones and text messages. I am letting go of distraction and perfection to live a life that simply consists of what really matters. I’m living Hands Free. Take my hand and come along. A Hands Free revolution starts here!

What is MOPS?
MOPS is a grassroots movement that believes moms are world influencers. We also believe that incubating hearts and giving just-because-hugs can change the course of history. That’s why we connect moms all over the world to a community of women, in their own neighborhoods, who meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood. MOPS groups are rallying women to be more honest, to feel more equipped and to find our identity by journeying along side one another. We are moms, and we believe that better moms make a better world.
Focus on the Family is a global Christian ministry dedicated to helping families thrive. We provide help and resources for couples to build healthy marriages that reflect God’s design, and for parents to raise their children according to morals and values grounded in biblical principles.
We’re here to come alongside families with relevance and grace at each stage of their journey. We support families as they seek to teach their children about God and His beautiful design for the family, protect themselves from the harmful influences of culture and equip themselves to make a greater difference in the lives of those around them. …more

…one home at a time.
Rome wasn’t built in a day and a journey of a thousand miles begins with a step. We may not be able to transform every family all at the same time, but we can start with one family. Perhaps that’s your family, or maybe there’s someone else you’re thinking about that could use one of the tools that FamilyLife has to offer
Signet Ring magazine promotes a wholehearted pursuit of Jesus Christ in response to His invitation, “Follow Me.” We do this through learning about and growing in our identity in Christ, imparting His love in our relationships, and living a disciple’s life. In light of the principles of 1 Timothy 1:5, “The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.”

Understanding the two words: “entertaining” and “hospitality” will set you free and help you relax so you can kick your front door open and begin to truly enjoy having people over.
ENTERTAINING often says: “Come on over to my house and let me impress you with what I have or how I do things.”
HOSPITALITY says: “Come on over just as you are and be part of our family. Kick off your shoes. There’s always room for one more. Make yourself at home here.”
Started in 2003 by Julie Hiramine, Generations of Virtue is a non-profit ministry staffed by committed volunteers. After sizing up all the immoral influences present in our culture (and watching them evolve over the last 10 years), Julie set out to help parents deal with this attack of the enemy targeted at our kids, particularly in the area of sexuality. It is the mission of Generations of Virtue to equip parents to empower their children to be pure in our world today.
At GOV, we believe God is calling this generation to be the leaders in a movement that is turning the tide of culture back to God’s standards. It is our goal to assist young people as they make choices to honor God with their media standards, relationships, and life callings.
Parents are an essential element to this world-changing generation. When it comes to being able to make different choices than their peers, young people need instruction, protection, and support from their parents. Not only is the Lord calling young people to come out from under the influence of the enemy, He is also calling parents to stand in the gap for their children and model a lifestyle that is pure in heart, mind, and body.
“Julie Hiramine and her team at Generations of Virtue have been helping moms and dads instill character in their children for years now.” Jim Daly, President, Focus on the Family
There are so many people who are stepping forward to cheer us on as Mothers With a Mission makes its way into the world. At the top of the list is Nicole Theis, with Delaware STRONG Families and Delaware Family Policy Council. She is leading the charge to bring biblical and moral values back to the forefront and offers workshops and other events to educate us so we can make wise decisions and be armed with truth.
Joyce Sessoms, Director of The ARK Educational Consulting, Inc., Laurel, Delaware, introduces the benefits of enrollment. The ARK Educational Resource Center (a program of The ARK Educational Consulting, Inc.) provides comprehensive mentoring, tutoring, assessment, and counseling services to disadvantaged middle and high school students who are at-risk of dropping out. Parents are included in plan development in preparation for working with students through workshops, cultural exposure, organizational and study skills and so much more. Honor a Mother & Bless 2 Lives at Once
Jacki Hunlow, former Oregon Mother of the Year, initiated this charitable organization to support mothers who are raising and caring for their families. With a twenty-five dollar donation, you can honor your mother by sharing a story from her life. That story is then added to ”Our Stories” archive, a collection of stories that illustrate the intrinsic value mothers bring to their families, communities and nations. A portion of the donation will help a mother in need. It may buy a sewing machine, or chickens, or help her child obtain clothing for school
